Clinical Observation on Curative Effect of 85 Patients with Chronic Renal Insufficiency

Besides general treatments, the author treated 85 cases of chronic renal insufficiency by differentiation of symptoms and signs and treatment of TCM. The patients with insufficiency of the spleen and pathogenic dampness were treated with Fangji Huangqi Tang、 Ling Gui Zhu Gan Tang and Buzhong Yiqi Tang ;the patients with yang deficiency and adverseness of yin were treated with Wenpi Tang, Wuling San and Zhen Wu Tang; the patients with deficiency of both qi and yin were treated with Shen Qi Mai Wei Dihuang Tang、 Da Buyuan Jian and Huangqi Buzhong Tang;the patients with deficiency of liver-yin and kidney-yin were treated with Qi Ju Dihuang Wan、 Zhi Bai Dihuang Wan and San Jia Fumai Tang ;the patients with deficiency of both yin and yang were treated with Jinkui Shenqi Wan、Dihuang Yinzi and Jisheng Shengqi Wan. The results showed that obvious effect was 17 cases, improvement was 38 cases, a total effective rate was 64. 7%.
