On Early Poems by Gao Shi

When people of the later generation mention Gao Shi,they tend to compare him with Cen Shen and focus their attention on his frontier poems.If you have carefully read his poems for more than 200,you will have found that there are only about 20 poems of this kind,while poems about reclusion,which are unique and make up 2/3 of his poems,are rarely discussed.This paper is aimed at Gao Shi's poems about reclusion,including farewell poems and eclogues so that we will have a slight understanding of his uniqueness but a more comprehensive understanding of the character of his poems.
