Abstract

Objective To observe the outcomes of propofol-remifentanil anesthesia with laryngeal mask airway(LMA) ventilation in children undergoing transcatheter closure of congenital heart disease(CHD).Methods Propofol-remifentanil anesthesia with LMA was performed in 40 CHD children undergoing transcatheter closure.Intravenous scopolamine 0.01 mg/kg was injected before anesthesia.Anesthesia induction was carried out with ketamine 1.5 mg/kg,vecuronium 0.04 mg/kg,remifentanil 2 μg/kg,and propofol 1 mg/kg,which was followed by LMA ventilation.Anesthesia was maintained by infusion of propofol 4 mg·kg-1·h-1 and remifentanil 8 μg·kg-1·h-1.Continuous non-invasive BP,HR,ECG and SpO2 were monitored. Results DBP and HR were lower after induction than those before(P0.01).BP and HR were slightly increased during LMA insertion and operation. Conclusion Propofol-remifentanil anesthesia with LMA ventilatin can be used safely and effectively in CHD children undergoing interventional transcatheter closure.
