Abstract

[Objective] To detect expression rate of granulocytemacrophage colony-stimulating factor receptors(GM-CSFR) on CD_(34) positive cells in bone marrow of patients with aplastic anemia(AA) and myelodysplastic syndrome(MDS).[Methods] The expression rates of GM-CSFR on CD_(34) positive cells in 14 AA patients, 23 MDS patients and 8 normal cases were detected by flow cytometry(FCM) and monoclonal antibody technique.[Results] The expression rate of GM-CSFR on CD_(34) positive cells in MDS group was higher than that in control group and AA group(P0.05).There was no significant difference between AA group and control group(P0.05).[Conclusion] It suggests that the quality of hematopoietic stem cells is normal in AA and the damaged quality of hematopoietic stem cells is one of the principal pathogenesis in MDS.
