Abstract
For implementing major function oriented zoning tactic,using hierarchical clustering method,with Lishui City in the southwestern hilly areas of Zhejiang as the studying area,the related indices of land use natural conditions,land utilization structure,economic and social functions of land use were selected to conduct regional zoning of land utilization.The results showed that Lishui can be divided into three land use zones as eastern valley-basins and low-hills land use zoning,central valley-basins and middle-hills land use zoning and western sources of water system and middle-hills land use zoning.The main functional zoning was connected with the regional zoning.
