Abstract
The documentary metrology has been conducted upon the statistical analysis of the articles,authors and quotations from Fujian Normal University Journal(natural science edition)(2005-2009).Results are as follows: altogether 654 articles are contained in 26 issues,among which articles concerning foundation items make up 89.4%,with the average of pages amounting to 4.63 per one; the rate of coauthoring is 87.9%,with the collaboration degree of 3.12;among the first authors,people who own senior titles accounts for 29.0%,graduate students 43.1%,52.3% are under 30 years old;the average of quotations amounts to 9.7 pieces per article,in which 48.5% are written in English,and 80.5% are cited from journals,which indicate that the journal is of a high-level citation.
