Abstract
A method and its application of the design of PCI interface with FPGA is introduced. Firstly, a depiction of the theory and the structure of QL5030 of 32-bite target interface chip in Quick PCI family provided by Quicklogic company is presented. And then the target-writing timing is analyzed. Finally, a project of the design of the PCI interface chip based on QL5030 in high-speed graph plotter is provided. This design can integrate the PCI interface and its user logic in a single chip as well as perform the simulation test on a whole logic, which greatly shorten the development period and also improve the performance and integration degree of the system.
