Abstract

Objective:To investigate the value of diagnosis in uterine anomalies by three-dimensional ultrasound multiplane imaging.Methods:Eighty-four patients with suspected uterine anomalies by two dimensional ultrasound(2DUS)were scanned with three-dimensional ultrasound(3DUS).The type of uterine anomalies was observed. The sonographic features of different types of uterine anomalies were illustrated. Results:There were 10 remnant horn of a unicornuate uterus,5 unicornuate uterus,3 double uterus,3 incomplete bicornuate uterus,1 complete bicornuate uterus,5 uterus arcuatus,14 complete uterus septus,43 uterus subseptus. The results of 3DUS was consistent with that of hysterosalpingography and hysteroscope examiantion.Conclusion:3DUS can acquire coronal plane of uterine heteroplasia. It can not only increase diagnostic accordance rate for uterine anomalies, but also play an important role in clinical management.
