Abstract
In order to increase the yield of crude polyphenols extracted from pomegranate peel, technology parameters were optimized.Through dual quadratic rotary regression orthogonal design experiment with four factors, the effects of extracting temperature, extracting time, the ratio of liquid to solid and ethanol concentration on the yield of polyphenols were investigated, and a mathematical model describing the relationship between the yield of polyphenols and influence parameters was developed. The optimum extracting conditions are as follows:extracted temperature 70℃,extracted time 1.5h,the ratio of liquid to solid 25:1 and ethanol concentration 50%,and the yield of polyphenols is 16.28%.
