Study on Industrial Group Strategy to Improve Competitiveness of Chinese Cities

This paper analyzes the nature of industrial grouping and puts forward that developing industrial grouping is the strategic way to improve the competitiveness of Chinese cities.It suggests that in the process of developing groups in cities of China,attention should be given to the combination of the transformation of the old industrial bases,the construction of high_tech industrial bases and the adjustment of industrial strucˉtures,the combination of the construction of city market system with industrial group development,the acˉceleration of the reform of enterprise systems and technological innovation,the guiding and supporting efˉfects of government policies.
