Abstract
Non halophyte spinach(Spinacia oleraceal) was treated with low concentration of NaCl.The results demonstrated that low concentration NaCl(0,5 and 10 mmol/L) significantly enhanced growth, superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD) and calatase(CAT) activities of spinach. The chlorophyll content and protein content were increased under low NaCl concentration. All the changes led to the increase in growth of spinach under low NaCl concentration.
