The Development Process of Nec-confucianism and Its Revelation to the Future Development of Chinese Philosophy

Abstract

The Nec-confucianism, developed in the Song and Ming Dynasties by combining Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, experienced three stages that have important referring significance to the future development of Chinese philosophy. The author believes that, to prosper the philosophy in the new millennium, we should set up a characteristic and all new Chinese philosophy by synthesizing Marxist philosophy, the west philosophy and Chinese traditional philosophy.
