Confucianism and Modernization ——on Liu Shu-xian's thought of cultural philosophy

New Confucianists' philosophic probe into the modernization in the academic stages of China and the world in the 20th century is essentially an effort of cultural philosophy. From the three aspects of the thinking of traditional, modern and post\|modern Confucianism, of the relationship between Confucianism and modern China, and of the study of cultural philosophy, this paper analyses the cultural philosophic thinking of Liu Shu\|xian, the representative figure of the third generation of new Confucianism, an active philosopher in the Chinese and the overseas forum of philosophy, and it also introduces the characteristics and importance of the new generation of new Confucianism.
