Abstract

Band gap properties of 1-dimensional photonic crystal were studied by transfer matrix method.The band gap structures of TE,TM and TE/TM mold of 1-dimensional photonic crystal were calculated.The results show that the thickness of the dielectric layer changes,a change in width of band gap is occurred,which provide a theoretical basis for design of the 1-dimensional photonic crystal devices.
