Abstract
This paper studies the synthesis of acetate ester with absolute alcohol and acetic acid as reactant,with titanium sulfate as catalyst.After investigating catalyst amount,reactant ration and reaction time,the better reaction factors have been found: catalyst amount is 10.2% of the acetic acids,the mole ration of alcohol and acid is 1.8:1,the reaction time is 60 min,the recovery rate of EtOAc is over 69%.Compared with 98%H2SO4 the result is better when titanium sulfate is used as catalyst.
