Abstract

Objective Through resistance selection of Musca domestica,to screen the cultivation method that can rapidly improve the level of resistance, and provide technical support for resistance mechanism study and resistance management. Methods Selecting dichlorvos as the test sample, and laboratory-sensitive strain Musca domestica was selected by residual film, topical application and larvae selection. At the same time, half lethal dose was inter-generational determined and resistance coefficient was calculated. Results The resistance coefficient increased by only 0.29 times after 6 generations of resistance selection of Musca domestica by residual film;on this base, further 5 generations were selected by topical application(the resistance coefficient was 8.91) or by larvae selection(the resistance coefficient was 19.35),both of the resistance coefficient were significantly higher than that of further 5 generations by single residual film(the resistance coefficient was 2.12). Conclusion Larvae selection is a rapid and efficient method to improve the insecticide resistance of Musca domestica.
