Abstract

Spatial metadata system is one of the key methods to geographical information sharing in the net.In this article,the author discusses some standards and technolgies,which deals with the creation of spatial metadata system,at the same time,introduces XML and its function for spatial metadata system,also puts forward the principle for designing metadata system.A XML-based systematic construction of spatial metadata system is designed.
