Abstract

Objective:To observe the expression of IL-1β in rabbit cartilage cells of knee osteoarthritis by using medical ozone. Methods:All 36 white New Zealand rabbit were randomly divided into the normal group(A group,n=4),the control group(B group,n=16),and the experimental group(C group,n=16).The Huilth method was used to established knee osteoarthritis model in three groups. Then, the ozone was injected into knee articular cavity continuously for 7 days in C group, while the oxygen was used in B group. There was no treatment in A group. They were all sacrificed 7 days after modeling, and DAB method was used to detect the expression of IL-1β in knee cartilage cells. Results:The expression of IL-1β in B group were difference to C group(P0.05) and A group(P0.01).Conclusion:The medical ozone can reduce the expression of IL-1β in cartilage cells for treating knee osteoarthritis.
