Abstract
Based on the statistics released by Guizhou province from 2001 to 2010,the present research aimed to analyze the relationship between sci-tech investment and economic growth in Guizhou province by utilizing the grey relational analysis method.The results revealed that local government ST appropriation,RD internal expenditures,and the number of ST personnel were positively correlated in boosting economic growth in Guizhou province.Of the three factors boosting Guizhou economic growth,local government ST appropriation played a more dominant role than that of RD internal expenditures and the number of ST personnel.Finally,suggestions on Guizhou sci-tech investment in the future were provided.
