Abstract
Wood flour was pretreated with terpolymer of methacrylic acid, butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate[P(MAA-BA-MMA)],and then the PVC/wood flour composite materials were toughness modified by CPE,ACR and nano-CaCO_3.The results showed that the effects were the best when wood flour was pretreated by P(MAA-BA-MMA) and then the composites were toughened by ACR,and the tensile strength, flexural strength, impact strength and elongation at break of PVC/wood flour composites were increased by 7.97%,5.26%,68.85%and 571.26%, resp. The SEM results showed that the interface of composites was blurry and the fracture surfaces exhibited toughness characteristics when the wood flour was pretreated by P(MAA-BA-MMA) and then the composites were toughened by impact modifier.
