Abstract

As one of founder of Neo-Confucianism,Zhang Zai attached importance to the category of Cheng.In the system of Zhang Zai's thought,Cheng is not isolated,it was associated with the propositions about epistemology.This article can apply to investigate and clarify the meaning of epistemology about the category of Cheng in the system of Zhang Zai's thought.
