Forecast and Prevention Measurement on Some Kinds of Bank Collapses in the Middle-Lower Reach of the Yangtze River

Toward occurrence of bank collapses in the middle-lower reach of the Yangtze River,four types of them,that is erosion type,crash type,slippage type and flow-slide type,were pointed out,and analysis on feature and occurred condition of each one was done.Providing a reference for decision-making of calamity reduction and improvement project,some forecast and prevention measurements on them,including monitor of river hydrology,morphology near bank,geological structure,bank outward aspect and human activity,prediction and defending method by analysis on above-mentioned aspects,were presented.
