Abstract

According to the requirement of realizing many advanced functions such as VOD(Video-On-Demand), network browsing, on-line software upgrading, e-mail and game downloading in digital TV STB, a real-time operation system which is used in DVB-C Set-top box(STB) is designed by the author, and the test result of the system illustrates that it has many features such as fast startup speed, versatile applications and friendly user interface.
