Application of Intensive Care Nursing Scoring System in Nursing Management of Intensive Care Unit

Objective To study the value of intensive care nursing scoring system(ICNSS) in nursing management of intensive care unit(ICU).Methods A total of 105 ICU patients were randomly divided into observation group(n=55) and control group(n=50).In the observation group,the ICNSS scale was applied to evaluate nursing workload,and the nursing resource was allocated according to intensive care nursing scoring.In the control group,equal distribution of sickbed was carried out,and each nurse equally undertook amount of nursing workload.The ICU monitoring time,therapy cost,incidence of complications during the hospitalization,satisfaction of the nurses and the patients or their relatives were compared between the two groups.Results The ICU monitoring time,therapy cost and incidence of complications during the hospitalization in the observation group were significantly less than those in the control group(P0.05 or P0.01),the satisfaction of the nurses and the patients or their relatives in the observation group was markedly better than that in the control group(P0.01).Conclusion Nursing resource allocation according to ICNSS is worthy of promotion and application in ICU because it improves nursing quality,satisfaction of nurses patients and their relatives.
