Comparison of therapeutic effect on facial acne vulgaris with intense pulsed light and crystallitic dermabrasion

Objective To compare the clinical therapeutic effect on different staging of facial acne vulgaris with intense pulsed light(IPL) and crystallitic dermabrasion.Methods 90 patients with acne were randomly divided into group A(48 patients) and group B(42 patients).Group A were treated with intense pulsed light,group B were treated with crystallitic dermabrasion.Observe the effect of 2 groups after one course of treatment.Results The efficiency rate of IPL in treatment on mild and moderate acne was clearly higher than crystallitic dermabrasion.The efficiency rate of crystallitic dermabrasion in treatment on severe acne,especially pustule and scars,was clearly higher than IPL.The differences of efficiency rate are statistically meaningful(P0.05).Conclusion Patients with different staging of facial acne vulgaris should be treated with different remedy to get better clinical curative effect.
