Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical value of D-DOM in decreasing radiation dose in abdomnial CT scanning. Methods 100 patients of abdomnial CT scanning were divided into study group and contrast group randomly ,50 cases respectively.group.D-DOM technique was used in the study group whiIe in the contrast group was not. Volume CT dose index(CTDI), dose length product(DLP) automatically displaying in the scanners was resorded for the teo groups while scanning;images was judged and classified as three level(excellent, good, poor) with double blind method, the image noise at corresponding parts was measured. Results No statistically significant difference between the two groups(P0.05). The result of image noise of the experimental group apex was lower than the contrast group,no statistically significant difference between two groups (P0.05 ).CTDL in experimental group is lower than the control group 3.3 mGy ( 23.7% ),DLP of experimental group is lower than the control group 118.4 mGy.cm (24.3%) (t=3.284, 4.764,P0.05). Conclusion The clinical value of D-DOM not only raises utilization rate of radiation and decreases radiation dose, but promises andincreases image quality in abdomnial CT scanning, and has some clinical significance.
