Abstract

[Objective]By using the luminescent bacteria method,a simulation experiment was carried out with 81.9% low toxicity model,to analyze the complex toxicity of drinking water.[Methods]By simulation experiments, the biological toxicological baseline of drinking water was established, and factors that influenced the luminescent bacteria test were studied,to explain the application value of this method in emergency toxicity detection of drinking water.[Results]The biological toxicological baseline of water quality in a region was-11.0% ~ 18.4%,which can be used to detect the comprehensive toxicity of drinking water. The factors, including pH value, chrominance, turbidity and residual chlorine, would inhibit the luminosity of luminescent bacteria,so the water samples would be pretreated before test.[Conclusion]Based on the biological toxicological baseline, the luminescent bacteria method can rapidly determine the toxicity of the drinking water, which can be used as the emergent method for monitoring the sudden water pollution accident and water quality mutation.
