Abstract
Objective To comparatively study physical constitution of Chinese college students of Han nationality in 1991 and in 2000,and to provide reference for health promotions.Methods Data were from the investigation of Chinese students' physical constitution and health status in 1991 and in 2000.The statistical and comparative analysis was performed.Results During 1991-2000,the physical morphology development increased more or less,but malnutrition still existed among rural male college students.Pulmonary function of college students and rural students' ventricular function appeared decreasing trend.College students' physical constitution became poor,especially in speed,endurance and flexibility.Conclusion College students should take more physical exercises to improve their health.
