Abstract
Objective To optimize the extraction technology of total flavonoids from the root of the Limonium sinense Kuntze. Methods Microwave treatment, ultrasonic and enzymatic hydrolysis were established to extract the flavonoids from the root of the Limonium sinense Kuntze. Then, the best method would be chosen to carry on orthogonal design for extraction technology. Results Microwave extraction was the best method among three methods. In the orthogonal test,50 % ethanol, the ratio of material to liquid 1:30,microwave power rating 528 W,microwave time 30 s were the ideal extraction conditions(the extraction rate was 22.19 mg/g).Conclusion Microwave extraction of the total flavonoids from the root of the Limonium sinense Kuntze e is simple and feasible and it provides a reference for further process development.
