Research on utilization and strategy of flood resources of Yangtze River

The surface water resources of Yangtze River accounts for 99% of the total water resources.At present,the utilization rate of the Yangtze River water resources is low and the development potentiality is large;for example,the potential usable flood resources at Datong hydrological station,which controls 97% of the river basin,is 474.9 billion m3,and the usable flood resources is 114.7 billion m3.Based on utilization condition and the problems,the flood resources utilization strategy of the Yangtze River Basin is suggested to provide technological support for water resources development and utilization of Yangtze River.
