Abstract

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and prognosis of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis(SBP)in patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods We retrospectively analyzed 86 SBP patients with liver cirrhosis. Results Amony of all the patients,65 cases febrile(75.6%),71 cases abdominal distention(82.6%),55 cases abdominal pain(64.0%),75 cases(87.2%)PMN of ascites≥0.50,31 cases(36.0%)ascites bacterial culture shows positive. Conclusion The clinical situation of SBP in patients with liver cirrhosis is not typical example. The routine examination of ascites can diagnose in early period.PMN odds of ascites is reliable paramete to diagnosis of SBP.Colibacillus is primary pathogen sensitive to the third generation cephalosporins and quinolones.
