Abstract
The good integrated functions of Solidedge and VisualNastran, finite element analysis softwere, were employed to analyze the stress for rotary drum of centrifugal machines,results were compared with the present rotary drum strength design.This design is based on the results of finite stress analysis. The dangerous points were partly strengthened and optimized, and the better method of rotary drum design has been achieved.
