Abstract

In this article , the stress strain simulation analysis under three kind of operating modes of drum is carried out by a finite element analysis software, visualNastran.Distributed situation of the biggest stress and the radial displacement of drum were obtained. Then, reduces the mass of centrifuge by optimizing the drum wall thickness on this foundation,which offered a theoretical guideline for the theory to the centrifuge structure optimization.
