Abstract
Objective To investigate CT subtraction angiogiaphy in the detection of the vertebral and basilar artery disease.Materials and Methods CT angiography of the vertebral and basilar artery was performed in 99 patients.Subtraction technique and curve planar reformatting(CPR) were used to evaluate the vertebral and basilar artery disease.Resu-lts CT subtraction angiography was better than CPR in the evaluation of the vertebral and basilar artery disease(P0.01).The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, the positive predictive value, negative predictive value of CT subtraction angiography was 89.5%,96.6%,96.4%,96.2%,and 96.6%,respectively.Conclusion 64-slice CT Subtraction angiography could be better in the evaluation of vertebral and basilar artery disease.
