Abstract

This paper introduces the methodologies and steps of exact modeling for the Gleason spiral cone gear in environment of Pro/ Engineer. Based on principle, using equation build up the involute. Consequently we can ensure the accuracy of the involute gear shape. Carry out quick modeling of various modulus and teeth number by set up relations between variable and basic parameters. It raised the design efficiency.
