Abstract
Postponement of prosecution is one of the heated topics both in theory and in practice at present and is also an important factor concerning prosecution procedures that we must consider while amending the Criminal Procedure Act of the PRC. Where mainland of China establishes its regime of postponement of prosecution,the experience in the Taiwan district will have important reference meanings.By referring to legislative experiences of other countries and districts,we can build up a more reasonable regime of postponement prosecution.
