Abstract

Objective To evaluate the value of 64-slice spiral CT angiogrpahy in displaying portal vein involved in hepatic diseases. Methods 245 patients were selected to analysis that performed the abdominal CT scan from October 1,2005 to October 31,2007 in our hospital. Results Among 245 patients, diseases of portal vein were found in 120 patients.Portal hypertension was found in 52 patients, tumor embolismus in portal vein in 48 cases, cavernous transformation of portal vein in 10 cases, portal vein invaded in 20 cases. Conclusion 64-slice MSCTA could definitely demonstrate the affection of vessels, especially subtle changes, therefore, could be used for optimizing therapeutic regimen and evaluating therapeutic effect.
