Abstract
To study GST-π gene for micrometastases and drug resistance in breast cancer and lymph nodes. Methods: Samples were assayed for GST-π protein expression by immunohistochemistry. Results: Percentage of GST-π gene protein expression in normal breast tissue, breast benign tumor, breast cancer, HE positive and HE negative lymph nodes were 0.86%, 56%,77%, 43% respectively. Conclusion: Expression of GST-π protein shows high level in the early stage of breast cancer.
