Abstract

Taking the project of Binjiang road in Nanjing as the research object, the long-term deformation and control measure of subgrade combining with embankment of the road construction in the areas near water are researched. Through numerical simulation, the settlement and deformation regularities of subgrade calculated with both Mohr-Coulomb model and soft soil creep model for soft soil layer are compared and analyzed. Then, the influences of different filling rates on the subgrade settlement and deformation are compared and analyzed. The results show that( 1) when adopting Mohr-Coulomb model to the soft soil layer, the subgrade settlement and deformation is more sensitive to load, the soft soil layer can complete the consolidation settlement in a short time after stack;( 2) the wholeness of settlement and deformation of soft soil layer calculated with Mohr-Coulomb Model is poor; the overall lateral displacement is small, the maximum horizontal displacement occurs in the central part of soft soil but not in the upper part of the soft soil creep mode, horizontal displacement is small, the maximum horizontal displacement occurs in the central part of soft soil, using the soft soil creep model for consolidation analysis is closer to the actual;( 3) the higher the filling rate, the greater the influence on the subgrade settlement and deformation, the filling rate should be reduced during construction if possible.
