On the Land Expropriation System of China and Protect the Farmers'Rights

The thesis analyzes the limitations existing in present land expropriation system and contradictions in the implementation of land expropriation,which takes Lishui in Zhejiang Province as a case.It adopts a typical study method, and takes a further consideration of how to build a new system for land expropriation.The thesis focuses on the protection of the farmers' rights and raises an idea of building new land expropriation system from seven aspects,including strictly defining the scope of land expropriation,regulating land expropriation procedures,setting reasonable standards for land compensation,strengthening the construction of social security system for farmers losing lands,improving the rural collective land property rights system,and exploring ways of dealing with farmers whose lands are expropriated.
