The influence of local injury to the endometrium in the embryo transfer cycle

Objective: To explore the favorable influence of local injury to the endometrium in the embryo transfer cycle.Methods: 188 embryo transfer cycles(IVF or FET) were given to infertile patients,and local injury to the endometrium was given during the 3-5 day in menstrual period in the embryo transfer cycles.The cycles were grouped according to the reason of local injury,the result of pathology and protocols given in assisted reproduction,and the comparison of clinical pregnancy rates between the groups were given.Results: After local injury to the endometrium,the pregnancy rate of patients with thin endometrium can reach up to 60%;The result of pathology shows that the groups with normal proliferative phase endometrium have the highest pregnancy rate,which is 75%,and the pregnancy rate of the groups with simple proliferative phase endometrium and endometritis is lower;and the pregnancy rate of IVF group is slightly higher than FET group,but there was no significant difference between the two.Conclusion: the local injury to the endometrium may be an effect way to increase the pregnancy rate in patients.
