Abstract

【Objective】To verify whether the Xinjiang jujube contains benzoic acid.【Method】Through the analysis of benzoic acid content of jujube in different regions,of different varieties and maturities,it has been confirmed that jujube contains natural benzoate. 【Result】The differences of contents of benzoic acid Junzao in different regions were not significant( T-test); The analysis of the contents of benzoic acid of different varieties of jujubes( ANOVA) showed that the benzoic acid contaminations between Hetian date and gray jujube,Hami jujube was significantly different; However, there was not distinctive difference of benzoic acid contaminations between the gray dates and Hami jujube; the benzoic acid contaminations of different maturities Chun date were significantly different( ANOVA).【Conclusion】Synthetical analysis results of different regions, varieties and maturities confirmed that the Xinjiang jujube contains benzoic natural acid. The contents of benzoic acid were related to varieties and maturities. The contents of benzoic acid in Chun date were within the range of 74-95 mg / kg at 95% confidence level.
