Abstract
The metaphase chromosome of Acrossocheilus fasciatus was prepared from head-kidney by PHA and colchicine injection and air drying technique.The karyotype was analyzed.The results showed that A.fasciatus had a diploid chromosome number of 50 and the karyotype formula was 2n=14m+16sm+6st+14t,NF=80.
