Abstract
The similarity of communities and cluster analysis in Hongjiahe valley were discussed in this paper.The results showed that the Jaccard index and Sorenson index of some communities are zero such as Michelia+ Melia toona ciliate+Schima crperb forest to Platycarya strobilacea + Liquidambar formosana forest,Pinus massoniana+ Castanoposis fargesii forest and Cunninghamia lanceolata+ Pinus massoniana forest and there is no similarily among the plant communities.The Jaccard index value of some communities is above 0.70,such as Castanoposis tibetana+ Castanoposis fargesii+ Phoebe chinensis forest to Liquidambar formosana+ Cunninghamia lanceolata forest,Castanea henryi+ Castanoposis fargesii+ Nyssa sinensi forest and Pinus massoniana+ Castanea henryi forest.Some communities Jaccard index range from 0.10 to 0.69.The communities of Hongjiahe valley were divided into 6 types though Cluster analysis of the main story dominant species: Michelia+ Melia toona ciliate+Schima crperb community,Castanoposis tibetana+ Castanoposis fargesii+ Phoebe chinensis community,Platycarya strobilacea+ Liquidambar formosana community,Castanea henryi+ Pinus massoniana+ Platycarya strobilacea+ Pruns pseudocerasus+ Cunninghamia lanceolata+ Quercus glandulifera community,Liquidambar formosana+ Querass variabilis+ Querass fabric+ Pinus massoniana community,the Coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest community compose of Pinus massonian,Cunninghamia lanceolata,Cupressus funebris,Castanoposis tibetan,Liquidambar formosana,Cornrs controversa and Castanea henryi.
