Abstract
【Objective】To investigate the effect of Angiotensin-(1-7) [Ang-(1-7)] on the TGF-β1/Smad /CTGF pathway of Cultured Glomerular Mesangial Cell.【Methods】Cell proliferation were evaluated by WST assay, and Smad3/7,CTGF mRNA expression in GMC were analyzed by RT-PCR.【Results】Compared with control groups,Ang-(1-7) obviously inhibit cultured GMC proliferation induced by TGF-β1(P 0.05);and also inhibit the mRNA expression of Smad3/7and CTGF induced by TGF-β1 in cultured GMC(P 0.05).【Conclusion】Ang-(1-7) can inhibit the proliferation of GMC induced by TGF-β1 and the mechanisms may be associated with effects of suppressing TGF-β1/Smad /CTGF pathway.
