Abstract
Bromochlorohydantoin Germicidal Detergent is compound disinfectant prepared from bromochlorohydantoin, the main germicidal ingredient, and other ingredients such as surfactant. In order to observe its germicidal efficacy and stability, suspension quantitative germicidal test was used to carry out experimental observation. Results: The average killing logarithm of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus exposed to the disinfectant solution containing available bromine and chlorine 550 mg/L for 15 min were ≥5.00,that of spores of Bacillus subtilis var.niger exposed to the solution containing available bromine and chlorine 5500 mg/L for 135 min was 4.71 and the average inactivating logarithm of poliovirus exposed to the solution containing available bromine and chlorine 550 mg/L for 7.5 min was ≥4.00.After the disinfectant was stored at 54℃ for 14 days, its available bromine and chlorine content decreased by 3.54%.Conclusions: The Bromochlorohydantoin Germicidal Detergent can effectively kill the vegetative forms and spores of bacteria in laboratory. It is stable in storing.
