Abstract
TypeⅡCalli were initiated from immature embryos of maize inbred lines8902,340and4112.TypeⅡCalli of three genotypes were transformed via Agrobacterium tumefaciens(EHA105and LBA4404).Factors influ-encing TypeⅡcalli transformation mediated via Agrobacterium tumefaciens haboring plasmid vector pBISP1have been studied through GUS transient expression. The result of PCR assay of regenerated plants indicated that P1gene has been inserted into maize genome, and efficient transformation system of TypeⅡcalli of maize inbred lines medi-ated via Agrobacterium tumefaciens has been established.
