Nationalism and Western Educational Historiography

This article tries to pay attention to the transformation of contemporary western historiography of nation-state and further study the influences of how Nationalism effects western educational historiography from the perspective of Nationalism,and then give some instruction to study the western educational historiography.First,historians of education should concern about the writings of western educational historians from the perspective of nationalism and focus on how the thought of nationalism effected the development of the western educational historiography.Second,educational historians should study the national style of educational historiography in the west from the perspective of comparative educational historiography.Finally,We should pay attention to the influence of the transformation of historiography of nation-state to western educational historiography.
