Abstract
Ideograph is the crucial character of Chinese Characters different from other language,But the ideography character almost disappears completely, because of the applying of simplified Chnese character.The thesis discusses the relation between shape and meaning of the word Yi,and the evolution of Yi,according to the shape,meaning and simplifying of Yi.
