Three Values of “System Effect”in International Relations:A Theoretical Analysis

Nowadays the System Effecthas been a popular topic in international relations. But in general,it is more about application than theoretical analysis. This article puts forward a preliminary frame called asThree Values Analysisto evaluate theories,and then applies it to the System Effect. According to the frame,this article points out System Effecthas a relatively high inspirative and explanative value,but basically no practical value,which is closely related to its characters and defects. Thus,the very first mission to develop the System Effecttheory is to modify its basic theory frame. At last,this article believes thatSystem Effecttheory will play an important role in the development of international relations.
